Sara Cook

Like so many I made my first quilt as a teenager in hexagons cut from Laura Ashley fabric. Since then my quilting journey has led me into teaching and in 2012 I established Brighton Fashion and Textile School to offer City and Guilds accredited courses in Patchwork and Quilting. This year I travelled to South Korea to attend the Korean Bojagi Forum to learn more about Bojagi patchwork and am looking forward to sharing that knowledge with students. I regularly contribute to articles for magazines and have worked as technical editor on a number of books about quilting. As a qualified Quilt Judge the chance to see work from makers around the world is a great privilege. You can find out more about the courses I offer by visiting the website
